General Objective

VINNEA addresses a key challenge in the wine sector: the gap between available scientific knowledge on viticultural practices and accessible digital tools for training and field decision-making.

The project proposes to bridge this gap through collaborative and cross-border development of advanced digital technologies: virtual reality, artificial intelligence, predictive models and mobile applications.

The Project Sequence

From tool creation to validation and sector launch

We Create

We develop advanced digital tools for viticulture: VR, AI, predictive models and mobile apps.

We Validate

We test the tools in real pilot projects with winegrowers, trainers, and industry professionals across the POCTEFA territory.

We Launch

We transfer the results to the sector, build a permanent cross-border network and participate in international events.

In Detail

What we do exactly at each stage of the project

01
Study and Development

Study and development of digital tools

1.1

Initial Diagnosis

Initial diagnosis of existing tools, identification of needs and opportunities for the development of new digital solutions in viticulture.

Diagnosis Existing tools Opportunities Adapted forms
1.2

Digital Modules for Pruning

Development of digital modules that can be integrated into pruning teaching and learning tools and towards the robotisation of field tasks.

Digital modules Pruning Robotics Serious Games Creativini - augmented reality card game
1.3

Predictive Models and Immersive Tools

Predictive models for the characterization of the vine root system (RSA) and immersive digital tools for awareness, training, and vineyard management.

RSA Predictive models AI GPR VR Phenovit - mobile app
02
Design and Implementation

Design and implementation of pilot actions to test, evaluate and validate the integration of digital tools
