First consortium meeting of the VINNEA project at UPNA
The VINNEA project consortium held its first meeting at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), bringing together all…
We develop digital tools —virtual reality, AI, predictive models— to transform teaching and decision-making in viticulture across the POCTEFA territory.
65% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund VINNEA leverages digitalization in viticulture through the development and application of advanced digital tools to improve teaching, professional training and decision-making on viticultural practices such as pruning and vineyard management.
A Spanish-French cross-border consortium of 6 partners with complementary expertise in agronomic research, computer science, learning and educational engineering, engineering, and technology enterprise.
More informationFour strategic axes guiding the work of VINNEA
We develop digital tools integrating virtual reality, 3D models and gamification to teach viticultural techniques such as pruning. We create immersive learning environments adapted to the Spanish-French cross-border context.
We develop predictive models of the vine root system, mobile applications to collect phenological data collaboratively, and we apply AI and GPR radar to interpret images and improve vineyard plot management.
AI algorithms to optimise pruning recommendations and translate them into specifications for autonomous systems. We define the technical and agronomic limits that will make robotics in the vineyard possible.
Permanent Spanish-French cooperation network for transferring results to the productive and training sectors. With presence at international events such as Laval Virtual 2026 and the Forum Toulouse.
Six beneficiary partners from Spain and France united by digital viticulture
